Volunteers are essential to the spirit and mission of NoHo Home Alliance. You bring our local community together to support our neighbors. Informed, connected, and collaborative neighborhoods showcase the interconnectedness we strive for. Together, we solve local challenges to empower individuals and build a healthy community.

Each day, 2 volunteer opportunities are available.

Shift 1: Core Crew

8:15 AM – 11:45 AM (3.5 hours) Support our day-to-day operations:
  • Operate the Service Stations
  • Cook Meals
  • Sort Clothes
  • Serve our Unhoused Guests
The Core Crew is the “bread and butter” of volunteer shifts!

Shift 2: Full Service

7:30 AM – 12:30 PM (5 hours) Support the complete Access Center experience:
  • Help set-up
  • Support day-to-day operations

Requirements:

NoHo welcomes volunteers between the ages of 14-114.

  • 14 – 16 Years Old: Must be accompanied by an adult.
  • 16 – 18 Years Old: Can volunteer without an accompanying adult if they have a waiver signed by their guardian
