Board of Directors
Stephanie Caridad
Executive Director (she/her)
Stephanie is a passionate Angeleno dedicated to advancing equity and justice. She strives to promote and facilitate community engagement that directly serves those experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. Stephanie’s mission-driven career has spanned the nonprofit, civic, and public sectors. At the start of her career, Stephanie was recognized for her accomplishments, named a Fulbright Scholar, and spent time in Poland advancing her intercultural relations and diplomacy skills. In alignment with her skills, she co-founded a fi rm designed to provide strategic support to non-profit and community-based organizations. At NoHo, Stephanie is proud to lead an organization so fueled by community power. She is motivated by NoHo’s commitment to compassionate care provided by experts. It is her belief that organizations like NoHo are the catalyst through which systematic changes can be realized.
Brad Goldberg
Site Manager (he/him)
Brad discovered NoHo Home Alliance when researching LA’s homelessness crisis for a local community organizing group, One LA-IAF. He was impressed with the breadth of work done at NoHo and started volunteering a few times a month. These days, Brad works part-time as a Site Manager at NoHo. Brad is an Author with an impressive background in the media world, working as an Editor, Writer, Producer, and Creative Director. His creativity and dedication to our unhoused community have made him integral to NoHo’s success.
Hannah Grigereit
Site Manager (she/her)
Hannah discovered Noho Home Alliance while walking her neighbor’s dog in 2016 and has been volunteering with the organization in various capacities ever since. She is a former Program Manager and Production Coordinator who has lived in North Hollywood for the past 10 years and has always been passionate about social issues and helping to build community. She has helped support the rapid growth of NHHA and is now a Site Manager. Hannah loves being part of the beautiful community hub NHHA has become for her neck of North Hollywood, and she feels privileged to be able to use her array of skills and dedicated efforts to directly impact the lives of her neighbors in need. 🐾Chihuahuas Winnie & Lily also share a love of NHHA, having steadfastly helped Hannah sort mail in the mailroom for the past 3 years with their excellent admin skills and non-opposable thumbs.
Michael Feldman
Food Coordinator (he/him)
Michael is a sitcom writer/producer/director with a dark past. Prior to his television career he worked for Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus for 6 years; he’d rather not discuss the specifics.
He and his wife Andrea started volunteering during COVID and he is honored to prepare hot meals for our guests and to be a member of the NoHo family.
Andrew Silver
Board President
Andrew Silver is a retired insurance executive with over 30 years of experience analyzing and consulting with small, medium, and large companies. Andrew has earned the CPCU, CIC, and AFIS insurance designations and maintains his California insurance license. Andrew has had a long-term interest in the humanitarian crises of homelessness in our community and has contributed to numerous organizations serving the homeless. Previously, he served on an advisory board for LA Family Housing.
Upon retirement, he decided to get more involved in homeless services and set about learning best practice solutions that have been developed to address this difficult problem. His study ultimately led him to NoHo Home Alliance, where he is excited to be working with our homeless neighbors, connecting them with services to lift them out of homelessness and enrich our communities. Andrew serves on NHHA’s Housing Advocacy Table.
Jonathan Bluman
Jonathan Bluman has worked at ABC in the casting department since 2016. In 2021, he became Vice President of Unscripted Casting, working to find talent for pilots, series, and specials. Before that, he was a talent agent at Endeavor/WME between 2005 and 2016, repping the likes of Mahershala Ali, Maya Rudolph, Omar Epps, Benjamin Bratt, Cheryl Hines, and Melissa Rauch.
In his free time, Jonathan enjoys watching his daughter perform in plays, and his son play basketball. When not doing that, Jonathan can be found hiking peaks of the Southern California mountains. He has volunteered at the NoHo Homa Alliance Drop-In Access Center since 2020 and joined the board in 2023.
Helaine Cohen
Helaine is a tax partner with Baker Tilly, specializing in pass-through entities and individuals with high net worth. She provides tax consulting services and compliance work. A significant part of her practice is in real estate.
She has served on the board of directors of Valley Beth Shalom synagogue in Encino and is also on the board of New Directions for Youth, a local charity that supports under privileged youth.
Tara Jones
Tara Jones is a former elementary school teacher who spent a decade working with low-income students and English language learners in Title 1 schools. She most recently taught kindergarten, first, and second grades at Providencia Elementary in the Burbank Unified School District.
In 2018, Tara began volunteering at NoHo Home Alliance to learn more about the growing homelessness crisis in her community and find ways to support her unhoused neighbors. She has served in various other roles at NoHo Home Alliance, including Drop-In Intake, Kitchen Support, Community Engagement team, Encampment to Home Lead, Housing Navigator, and Case Manager. Building relationships with NoHo Home Alliance participants has been an absolute joy!
Elaine Loring
Elaine is a business consultant with expertise in marketing strategy and a focus on helping companies grow. She works independently and with The Winthrop Group.
Elaine is honored to be a part of the Noho Home Alliance community and a member of the Board. Elaine began volunteering at NoHo Home in 2019, pitching in where needed – helping guests get documents, making lunches, serving food, and sorting clothing. During the pandemic, she helped launch the Tuesday lunch program. She co-chairs NoHo’s advocacy and education efforts and is part of the team that successfully lobbied for more affordable housing in the district’s NoHo development.
Elaine is also active with Social Justice Partners of Los Angeles and participates in the LA2050 program.
Sandy Kiley
Sandy learned about NoHo Home Alliance in January of 2019 when she participated in a community bake fundraiser near the Studio City Farmer’s Market. Since then, she has been a committed volunteer and officially joined the team in 2018. With over 20 years of experience in management, consulting, healthcare technologies, and leadership development, Sandy is an expert site manager. In 2020, she added an MPH with a focus on Community Health from UCLA to her already impressive repertoire.
Sandy is one of the friendly faces you’ll see at NoHo Home Alliance, and she loves supporting the community while strengthening our internal processes. She is grateful to be part of the team and spend time with our neighborhood community.
