Our Unique Relational Homeless Outreach Model (RHOM)
Building on the homeless initiatives organized by St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in NoHo since March 2016, NoHo Home Alliance runs a unique homeless drop-in program that prepares homeless persons to receive services and housing placements with partner organizations.

NoHo Home Alliance utilizes what we call a Relational Homeless Outreach Model (RHOM). Each participant in our drop-in has the opportunity to have 2 to 12 points of contact with staff and volunteers. This helps homeless persons build networks and trust.
Through trust and a pre-housing checklist including securing birth certificates, ID’s, vaccinations, TB tests, eligible benefits and employment, we prepare homeless guests to accept housing placements and services through partner social service agencies in SPA 2.
